Chronology of the NY State Publishing compliance process: Some-Day Initiation of the Compliance Process:

• Thorough review of your LLC Publishing application for any discrepancies.
• A Legal Commencement Letter recognized and honored by financial institutions as proof of
  publishing is provided upon confirmation.

10 Business Days:

• Preparation of the Legal Notice in compliance with the NYS LLC Publishing Law.
• Designation of two newspapers (one Daily and one Weekly), approved by the local County
  Clerk for the purpose of publication.
• Application to both designated newspapers for their next available run dates for the
  mandatory six weeks.
• Processing of the newspapers' confirmation of their next available run dates, and
  notification to you by email containing the exact newspapers assigned and the run dates
  for your legal notice.

6 Weeks:

• Running 12 Legal Notices in both designated newspapers (once a week for six consecutive
  weeks, in both the Daily and Weekly Newspaper), in accordance with NYS LLC Publishing
  Law.
• After the completion of the 6 weeks, your LLC is in compliance, and we must now submit
  proof of this compliance with the NY Deportment of State so that they may record this
  compliance.

10 Business Days:

• Preparation of the notarized Affidavits of Publications, by both newspapers.
• Receipt by our office of the Affidavits of Publication from each newspaper, and immediate
  delivery to you by email.
• Immediate preparation and filing of the Certificate of Publication and Affidavits of
  Publication with the NY Deportment of State, by USACORP.

Approximately 3 Months (or 2 to 3 Days):

• NY Department of State is currently taking approximately 3 months to review Certificate of
  Publication submissions and record an entity's compliance.
• The State also offers the option to file on an expedited basis for an additional $25 State
  fee (we do not charge any USACORP fees for this expedite). With the expedited process,
  the State records your Certificate of Publication within 2 to 3 days, instead of 3 months.
  When we send you an email with your Affidavits of Publication, we will provide you with
  the most up-to-date turnaround at that time and offer the option to expedite your filing.
  This is not a requirement for most clients, as your LLC is already in compliance.
• Once reviewed, NYS provides us with a Publishing Fifing Receipt, confirming receipt and
  filing of your Certificate of Publication, which we immediately email to you and brings the
  process to a close!
